They'll arrive day after I place the order so it can be any day pretty much. I could get a case this week and another in two weeks, or something along those lines...

I can pass on mine. Don't want it to be consuming someone's freezer space unless someone has a lot of room to spare.

Been a slight change in these. Mah man asked the Sysco rep for current pricing and instead of a call back, a box of brisket arrived.

- They are fresh, not frozen
- $3/lb
- Average 12 lbs each ($36)

These cases have 4 per, so I have 4 on hand now.

Who from the list in the op wants 'em? I don't think I want to do one this weekend so they're all up for grabs.

I'll order more in over the next week or two so everyone gets theirs

They're fresh so yeah, they need to go. That said, you could likely age them fro at least a week, maybe two before cooking.

Okay so here's the dealio.....

These fresh briskets we got in were 'flats' only, with the 'point' removed. I prefer full packer briskets and talked to the sales rep myself today. The last time I bought them was spring of 2011 when they were $2.29/lb. Current price is....... $3.30/lb! Only up ~ 30% in two years! Gawd.

Anyhow, they're frozen as originally posted. I ordered a case which they said would be 5 pieces and will be in hand tomorrow, Tuesday.
