Nope! but I had a cucumber saison by Village Brewing out in Calgary last summer and it was great. Perfect summer patio beer.Keith wrote:That could go either way. Lol. You brew this before?
I'm hoping for similar results.

That sounds great! I just cut up a few cukes and steeped them. I'm thinking that should be good, but still debating whether to add one or two more to the secondary...mr x wrote:I made a cucumber wheat beer with cilantro. Pretty good.

Sampling and taking a gravity reading on the French Saison I bottled today. Harvested the yeast strain in the jug in behind. Will transfer the good stuff to my sanitized mason jars shortly.

Didn't take long for the Conan yeast to get up to speed. I pitched at about 3pm and this picture was taken at 11pm or so:

Nice. I use a small pump to recirculate PBW through taps and lines. Finish with recirculating water and then push star San through from a keg with compressed air.AllanMar wrote:Not an original idea by any means, but my new line cleaner ($8 HD sprayer + $16 fittings):

A fun little brew. 2kg of Hop Flowers in the Mashtun. Best looking and smelling mix I've had yet.

Hop flowers in the mash FTW. If only you could put smells on the internet... This mash smelled AMAZING! And it looks purdy, too.HPhunter wrote:A fun little brew. 2kg of Hop Flowers in the Mashtun. Best looking and smelling mix I've had yet.
