I have had two bottle of the Sticke Alt, one blew my mind the other was mediocre. Maybe I over hyped it in my mind, but it just didn't do it the second time for me.

Agreed on the Sticke Alt - had it a week or so ago. Most excellent.TJ Brew wrote: The Sticke Alt and the Lambic were by far the best!

You must've cleaned out Premier W&S!
Looks like a good night.
How'd you find the Imperial Red?

Turned out extremely good Jeff. I wish I had an original SNPA so that I could try them back to back, but I think it's pretty darn close. I'll be brewing this again really soon as I'd love to have this always on tap.

Trying a Trois Mousquetaires Kellerbier now. Tastes a lot like their "American" Pale Ale that I had last month. Both obviously use Belgian Pale Ale yeast. Still good though.

Out of the four I got (Porter Baltique, Sticke Alt, Doppelbock, too), it was my least fave. That being said, it was still an enjoyable brew.
As for tonight... maybe a Rochefort 6? Could end up being just an Old Sam. No regular trivia, so a quiet night while my Mrs. hosts her stitch n' bitch night.

Having some homebrewed rye I pa. Great sports night!
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Dropped by Premier after work. Started my weekend with a Golden Draak. Second time having this beer and I really like it. At 10.5 ABV it is an efficient way to start the weekend. Also grabbed Rogue Dry Hopped St. Rogue Red Ale and Brutal IPA.
