Here it is after 4 hrs of smoke and a 2 hr wet foil finish in beer. Hopefully I'll find time tomorrow to slice it and test....

Did some pork back ribs on the grill yesterday, used apple wood chips and peanut butter for the sauce..they turned out pretty awesome actually. Once they were done I coated them with a sauce made out of thai peanut sauce, and Maple Diana Sauce.

Well I've been putting peanut butter on my hamburgers lately and it's pretty damn tasty, so I figured I'd give it a go on ribs. It gives it that peanut butter flavor, with a little spice, and a little sweetness. There are quite a few recipes for peanut butter ribs online now that I've looked into it.

But, if there's no pics it probably didn't really happen.
Your family will soon learn. Instead of ridiculing you for taking photos of your food they'll be waiting in line to eat asking if you have taken photos yet

I went fishing yesterday, here is the result. We went to Fisherman's Cove, Eastern Passage and stood in the water in the channel there on the incoming tide.
Brined for an hour or so, smoked at 200F for just over 2 hours with applewood chips. The result is delicious and I was pleasantly surprised...

Before the road trip ended I had to stop into the local pizza shop for some wood-fired high-temp thin crust pie

The veggie farm is over in Point De Bute, found that on the way to see PEIBeerguy, thought I better bring him over some H&T love. Sadly for him this is as close as I got before a party on the beach broke out....
