36qt Coleman Extreme

Post by jtmwhyte » Sun Mar 30, 2014 5:32 pm

I'm selling my cooler as I'm going to replace it with a BIAB bag and eventually use my current electric kettle as a MLT. I'll post up some pics later. I'm looking for ~45 including the ball valve assembly (it's set up for cooler BIAB, but I never got around to getting a bag). I can take it to the grain pickup.

Is this good for 10 gallon batches? If so I'm in.

It's good for 10g, but it will be maxed out for larger brews.

Trevor do you have a pic? I think this will work for me. If it will do a 4.5-7% beer (most of mine fall in that range). :cheers2:

You'd be stretching it for 7%. I use a 72qt cooler for 10 gallon batches and max out between 1.065 and 1.070 OG.

I also pulled the camlock off for use on my sparge pot, which will become a small batch experimental pot

Going to need to pass on this unfortunately as I often brew 7% IPA's, Jeff says he is maxing out in his 72 quart. Won't do the volume I need. Shouldn't take long to go however. Great price.

$35.00 now if I can move it before the weekend and take it to the grain pickup with no bag.

I'm in the New Glasgow and lots of people make the trek to the city on a regular basis

Dammit. Was totally going to speak up for this today.

If for some reason Denis decides not to take it, I will.

Dennis,

Odds are getting it to PEI would not be easy. If you can arrange passage from there or from here (10 minute drive from the Pictou ferry) It's yours.

if not I'll sell to Aaron, just let me know.

By all means it is all Aarons. For the trouble it would be to have it find its way to the Island I would rather Aaron just grab it and make use of it himself.
