Sorry for the delay posting back here, guys.

The beer finished and is crashed down to 50 F so I'm starting to harvest for a few tomorrow. It'll likely be better to harvest more on Saturday for some that don't need it for Saturday morning, from what I'm seeing I don't think the strain is a very good flock'er. The pub doesn't open until 4:00pm which makes things a bit of a clusterphuck. Tomorrow I'm brewing a SMaSH IPL. I'll be pulling my overnight simmer trick on it so I'll only be in the house for about 4 hrs max. Then I'll finish it Sat morning so I could pull some off then, or I could meet at pub at 4 when it opens to pull some off. I could also perhaps pull off more Monday morning. I don't think I'll plan to dry-hop it until then.

Anyways, post up your thoughts, gents :cheers2:

PS: I don't have much for containers, maybe a couple...

I'm brewing Saturday morning and was hoping to use this yeast. I can be at Rock Bottom for just after 4pm with a couple sanitized mason jars (I'm picking up for Trevor as mentioned earlier in the thread).

If that could work for you let me know.

I'll pass on this one, I can't make it on Saturday. I'll try to catch round 2. Thanks for doing this!

I plan to leave by 3:00 PM tomorrow. Can you make by then, lunchtime perhaps?

Aha. I misunderstood.

Lunchtime actually works better for me than 4pm does. I will wander up shortly after noon. Let me know if there's a secret knock or a passwoid needed.

Thanks a ton!

I'll have my little girl in tow but will try to make a trip over. Likely it won't be until Saturday afternoon but I'll ping you if I can get free another time.

Thanks!

Not really. When are going to brew with it?

I never thought about the pub not opening til 4 when I started this thread. It's a real clusterfuck for this. I don't particularly want to make multiple trips to the brewery making a mess of slurry to clean each time etc etc.

Thinking I might run to crap tire for mason jars, fill what I can and stick em in the cooler. Then you could pick them up from the bartender during open hrs.

I'll post back.

That's not fair. Can you take the rest of the day off and go home?

I'm gonna bow out of this round of yeast due to logistics and lack of time to brew. Have some Yeast Bay Vermont Ale on it's way to me now that I'll likely use in a couple weeks.

What size containers do you need? I have lots of 120 ml containers.

That'd be decent for a 23 L batch while its fresh, depending on gravity. I bought a case if 250ml mason jars 20 mins ago....

When's the earliest I can pick this up tomorrow (Saturday)? And, for the record, we'd be meeting at Rock Bottom?

I've filled some bottles and stashed them in the back cooler. I'll make sure the bartenders are alerted to the situation. So come in after open at 4:00 pm and mention that you're a Brewnoser looking for a bottle of yeast. And buy a pint o Fathom while you're at it!

Mmmm. Fathom. Colour me jealous all you city slickers, all being close to Fathom and whatnot.

Thanks for the yeasty beasties, Nash! It's going to be an effing awesome brew weekend!

Edit: And by "awesome", clearly I mean EPIC!

:cheers2:
