I come across many lists in my daily scrounging of the internet for useless info. I feel I must share this crap with you.
Top 10 War Movies
http://www.theguardian.com/film/filmblo ... war-movies" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I haven't seen many of these (although i will soon

), but I think Jarhead is better than 3 Kings.

How can you have a war movie list without Saving Private Ryan?

They also don't have the usual suspects on their crime or action moves, or Ronin,or braveheart, gladiator, godfather ect..

Don't even look at the horror movie list, I am a fan of the old horror classics but having 3 Vamp movies in the top ten and not including the original Night of the Living Dead on the list is a little much. I give the list an extra 1/2 star for adding the original "Let The Right One In" (the remake blew), that is a solid movie but nowhere close to the top ten of all-time.

Full Metal Jacket and Platoon are pretty good, but I'll need to spend some quality time reviewing these other movies.

Oh man! The Usual Suspects is easily in my top 5 of any genre.
Their Sci-Fi list is OK, but Matrix doesn't make my top 10. How 'bout THX 1138 or Brazil or Logan's Run?
This list (
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technol ... e#slide-35" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) has Repo Man (another of my top 5) at 66, though is more comedy than SF IMO

0 out of 10 but I didn't take the test, I could have randomly guessed and would have got 2.5 out of 10.....statistically speaking. I did get the Enterprise before I read the caption in the photo.....so that is something I suppose.

Can't believe Detroit's number 1 on that list... Wonky criteria, whatever ones were used in compiling it.
