Does anyone have an extra digital controller that you are looking to sell or can recommend another ebay option. I bought one with the group buy that sleepiejamie set up, but never got my act together to collect it from him. I just learned he moved to Calgary and so he is going to refund my money, but I still have a need to use my keg fridge for fermenting. The one that he organized to buy looks like it is sold out, but maybe there are other options you guys recommend.

Thanks for this link Rob. This looks like a great local resource for lots more supplies as well. I haven't been active on the site and this is the first I hear of Everwood Ave Brew Shop.

Yes it is. Fishdisease (Dave) started a store and is now one of the vendors. He has a really good selection of grain (and other stuff, hops, yeast, hardware, pots etc.) good prices and no shipping! (because you can pick it up). No-one can afford shipping costs on a bag of grain. http://www.brewnosers.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=45. He’s getting more and more stuff in.Earl wrote:This looks like a great local resource for lots more supplies as well....Earl
I heard also that some people get a mug of beer when they go there as well. I didn’t because it was 10 am, but I’m going to try again, later in the day next time

Actually I think I’m going to take Dave some beer instead, some Champagne Cascade. I got the ingredients from him for it, and he was interested to see how it would turn out. Plus he’s been really good to me.GuingesRock wrote: I heard also that some people get a mug of beer when they go there as well. Re: Digital Controller
Sure thing Sandy. My wife rather took a liking to the beer you dropped of here when you picked up the fittings, and by the time I was going to have a glass to try it properly, it was all gone.
Next time I’m hiding it.
Also, I’m going next Saturday to get more grain and stuff (if he's open). If you time a visit there right, maybe a bit later in the day, by then he will have had a chance to try it and say to himself “not another IPA!” and he will have started giving it out to the customers.
I do feel a bit sorry for Dave as he seems to have taken on brewing for all of his neighbours as well. I wonder if people who want to, could drop off beer there for a collection of Brewnoser’s beer for people to try when they visit?
