FS: Hop-Bomb T-Shirts

Post by NASH » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:30 pm

Hop-bomb T-shirts for sale!

These are high-end, Jerico organic bamboo shirts, made in Canada. They're very lightweight, and very durable. You'll notice excellent attention to detail in the fit, finish, and double-stitched hems. These are beautiful Ts with a soft, rich, silky feel :cheers2:

I've three types, all black:

Mens slim fit V-neck

mens slim V.jpg
Ladies V-neck

Ladies V.jpg
Mens Crew-neck

The v-necks are all quite high/tight-cut, half your chest will NOT be showing as with cheaper v-style Ts  These are also "slim fit", this means they are a couple inches smaller in both overall height/length and girth. Mens crew-neck are "regular" fit.

Artwork was done by the insanely talented local artist, friend, home brewer, musician, and all 'round beergeek (among other things), Bruce MacKinnon.

Naturally sustainable bamboo is soft, light and translucent making it the next generation in textile fibres. Bamboo is increasingly being embraced by fashion houses and retailers whose impetus is towards sheer and pliable fabrics for both men and women.

Bamboo's inherent characteristics make it naturally hypoallergenic and moisture wicking without any chemical treatments. Bamboo's most esteemed characteristic is its natural sustainability. It requires no fertilizers or pesticides for its cultivation. It grows rapidly and profusely without depleting the soil and its anti-bacterial qualities repel odour and toxins.

I'm in for a V neck (L) I like the subliminal message
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

EMT ok? I'll see what I can do to arrange transportation for it. Unless you'll be up this way before long, I could meet you somewhere to pick it up.

Fuck, why not see if somebody's driving up your way, offer them beer in return then don't give them any? Just don't even mention it. OR, give them some bottle bombs that you found in the back of your closet but have no idea what they are or if they're any good.

I can jam one in the mail or bus for you, brother :cheers2:

I will take one if it fits my body type right. Hard to get a shirt to fit my pear (beer) shaped goodness. :spilly:

At just over 6'2" and 280 Lbs. I'd be interested to hear what the largest size you have is before giving my answer...

I'm an XXL on a regular shirt, so I'd be afraid that the slim fit would make me look like a mal-formed sausage. Whatcha think, Nash? If you have one in hand I could come try it on during the day Wed or Thurs. Better yet, do you have width and length numbers I can use to compare to my existing well-fitting shirts?

jtm: I've got the same body numbers as you (well, an inch shorter), but not sure if you're as gifted in the mid-section as me. I will report back on the fit to help you out.

Chalmers, the exact measurements of each shirt (and how they're measured) are posted at their respective pages linked in the OP, look on the right-hand side of the page for the "Size chart" link. :cheers2:
