Now that's a novel idea, I haven't though of before. Using pop bottles to store my hops in and flood it with CO2 via a carbonator cap. Would eliminate the need for refrigeration.
Thanks Liverdance.

That's exactly what I do Tony, however I don't find the plastic carbonation cap works well with the 1l dasani bottles very well.Tony L wrote:Now that's a novel idea, I haven't though of before. Nice, just did an inventory of mine, had a total of 22 lbs. Ended up buying a designated hop deep freeze of kijiji for $20 as the wife was getting pretty furious with hops flying across the kitchen every time she opened the freezerJimmy wrote:I took an inventory count of all my hops/grain last night, organized everything and entered them in beersmith.

I don't have anything like Jimmy at all. I'm afraid to take inventory... I might have to buy more and I really don't need to yet.

Just random brewing pics.
Top pic is the flysparging (with mash hopping for added confusion).
Bottom pic is running into the kettle through a screen to catch wayward grain.
