Any suggestions for getting rid of these furry beasts?

dish soap and water should kill them and not hurt the tree/plant.

Those bastages have been chowing down on mine too. Going to try some insecticidal soap since I have some.

I'm starting to see earwigs on my plants here. The bastards just rip the leaves to shreds. Some small dishes of vegetable oil mixed with a bit of water and planted level with the soil attracts them and drowns them pretty quick.

I get those too, but not as many as that. Usually I just walk around every day or so and squish them with my fingers.

But they're so icky!
Don't tell EZ, but I've found some on the hops as well. Will try the dish soap method, don't want these bastards killing my hops.

I don't find the wigs too bad. I don't worry about some munching, just the excessive stuff.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

My dad sprayed my hops with BTk yesterday to rid those caterpillars - first year I've had them but they're everywhere.

Only a couple of my plants have grown to any size this year. So far, no problems with pests though.

Oh no! They ate the shit out of the cascade! The damn Question Mark has been back every day laying more eggs. EZ and I have been spraying and taking them off one by one, and seem to be mostly on top of it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polygonia_interrogationis" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hmm, that looks like the end of the world right there. Those other plants are looking good though. I'm going to be watching mine more carefully. I've seen some of those butterflies hanging around them lately, but I think I've been spared.

I'm knocking wood... haven't seen anything other than slugs... butt loads of slugs, but they seem harmless

my bines are just over the 1 foot mark

I got all my caterpillars that one time and they haven't returned. I guess it was a butterfly passing through on its way from Dartmouth to Spryfield.

The earwigs are coming out but not in big numbers I haven't seen any evidence of them eating leaves.

I spotted a ladybug on a leaf and left it there to guard the plant.

I took a look at my hop plants this morning after ignoring them for several days. Now there's green caterpilers chowing down on them and they don't look good. There won't be much of a harvest...
