Arghhh... it happened again, only this time I have 6+ gas lines.
Someone (not me!) had their keg filled up past the bottom of the gas in tube. I just finished filling some bottles and was hooking the gas lines back up when I heard and saw beer going up through the gas line and into others... FAWK!!! These are a bitch to clean!
Gonna have to find a way to run sanitiser through them. Anyone have a trick for that? My lines are crimped onto my manifold, etc. I might have to put a liquid connect on one side and run sanitiser from another keg.

I think i had a clean keg with sanitiser and pressurized it from the regulator with a clean line and ball lock, gave it a lot like 60-70Lbs, unhooked any gas ball-locks on the end of the lines, blasted it through and into a pot, did this a few times and let it sit, then repeated the process with clean water this time, then just air to blow any moisture out of the gas lines. Probably easier ways but thats what I did!!

Re: Cleaning Beer from Gas line
Well I detatched my maifold from the secondary co2 regulator, put a liquid out connector on it and pushed starsan through each line using a keg of starsan jumped to my parts keg I use for cleaning. I let it soak for a while and did it again; then again but just blasting co2 through it. All clear and clean.
I took the opportunity to rerun all of my liquid lines around the collar, zip tying them together.

That should be good.

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.
