Brewing in Westville

Post by jtmwhyte » Thu Feb 16, 2012 8:22 pm

New to the forum. I mostly brew Festa Kits but I am devling into all-grain in May.
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Welcome aboard...

Tony L that's awesome... when I was taking my copper coil immersion wort chiller to a friends apartment a few years ago an old lady in the elevator was quite upset... telling me making my own moonshine was illegal etc... I didn't bother to argue with her... just chuckled.

that's hilarious. i once went through a police checkpoint (just a safety check) with a full 23L carboy of beer on the passenger seat. He asked me if that was beer and i said no it's only wort i then proceeded to lecture him about how it's not beer until yeast has been pitched. he seemed sceptical so i offered to let him taste it for any alcohol. well thank god he didn't call my bluff because it was the finished product.

ON the passenger seat? I hope it was at least in an infant car seat - you wouldn't treat it worse than you'd treat your baby would you? :-)
Currently on tap: Nothing!
In keg: Still nothing.
In Primary: Doggone American Rye Pale Ale

How many people do we need for a Pictou County chapter?

Yeah, I told her it wasn't meth and told her instead that it was shine and she was OK with that.
Should have seen her when I was growing all that weed.... ( hops )
