Citadel hotel auction

Post by RobD » Tue Jan 31, 2012 10:57 am

Everything from the Citadel Hotel is being auctioned off this weekend. There could be some interesting stuff from the bar.... or some well used mattresses. :eeew:

I'm hoping to make it over to the public viewing Thurs or Fri, and I'll report back on anything that may be interesting.

Those coffee urns looked like they'd make great mash tuns, and those pots look like 15gal+. Wish I could make that auction :)

Thanks for posting this, I think I will go. If there are a few of us, we could split some lots and go for a beer after.

I'd love to check this out, but I don't think I'll be able to make it work. Those coffee urns look like a nice start to a mini system, depending on the size...

I'd like to try to make this as well. Looks like might be a few neat things.

lol...that's enthusiasm for ya. I'm going to check it out too...but I merely want some old CRT televisions, soiled mattresses and chipped end tables.

I'll split on a coffee urn if some one can bid.

If anyone's going to the preview, i'd like a pic or two and any info about those units. Interested a bit myself.

Please specify units, I'll take my camera and snap some shots. I am going to the viewing in the afternoon.
I am afraid that what is in the picture is the only goods for auction, I'd like to see more from the kitchen. It king of looks cherry picked already.

Well, that was a complete waste of time.

Everything I wanted went for 60-80% of retail, regardless of being worn or broken.
Some things I didn't need went for amazing prices, there was a commercial convection oven that went for $600. It is only a year old and costs $5000++ new!

Alas, I left with nothing.
