A growler of Pumpkin ale made it's way into my beer fridge last evening, and there isn't much left in it this morning. I think that says it all. :spilly:

Very well balanced beer—the pumpkin and pie spice flavour is there, but not overpowering at all. Incredibly easy drinking. Kind of wish I had ordered up more than one growler!

I've been hmm-ing and haw-ing about whether or not to get a growler of it myself tonight, for the weekend (well, probably just Saturday, really). It is a pretty tasty, easy-drinkin' brew.

This is going fast! We're picking up a couple of growlers tomorrow to take to a Halloween party.

Yup, that's the problem. I burned through 3 pints last evening without even realizing it. Very, very tasty. Possibly the best Gahan beer yet...

What is a Halloween without a good Pumpkin Beer?!
I had a pint of MacAusland's pumpkin beer last week and it was great! A little spicier, but not to harass, and a dangerous 5.5%. If you have a chance grab one.
Any one get some of Propeller's?

Haven't had Propeller's yet, but have had the St. Ambroise, too, as well as the Great Lakes Brewing Company's Pumpkin Ale.
This one (on glass #3 from the growler I had filled today) is better than both of those.

Hopefully B.A. can warn us when it's getting low. I'd like some, but don't have any solid plans to make it to the island soon. I may ask one of you Aleanders to grab a growler in return for some Propeller Pumpkin or something else.

Be glad to return some beer karma your way whenever I can.
Just say the word, Juggalo!

And, yes, a "getting low" warning would help out in that regard. I'd wager a guess that this may end up being Gahan's best-liked and fastest-selling brew yet?
The reworked IPA in the summer was good, too, but I think it's faded a bit since.

I will definitely let you all know when we are getting low on Pumpkin.

Still tweaking the IPA, could not get my hands on Centennial for a few brews and definitively saw/tasted the results. Thankfully the 2011 crop should be available now, going to have to stalk up!

FYI, the next Aleanders meeting is Tuesday Nov 8 at Wortly's.

Hopefully you can make it B.A.

I had it on October 2nd and again on the 16th. My immediate impression was that it was misbranded and was truly an APA. If it was the same batch, then maybe it had faded. I always give them a try when I'm home, just to see what the flavour is like, and to encourage other breweries to step in to the game (which perhaps worked??? waiting for Don's stuff to hit the shelves/taps).

That all said, I thought the IPA was a decent beer in its own right, just not an IPA.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Yup, it's off the taps but a couple of kegs remain. Got a barrel?
