I'm having Uncle Leo's Winterschlaf again tonight. Great Fizzy Yellow Beer if you're interested in that kind of thing.

I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber

What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

That underseals it a bit, it a pretty good kölsch - but I got a little bit of diacetyl that is out of style. Still enjoyed the growler I hadjtmwhyte wrote:I'm having Uncle Leo's Winterschlaf again tonight. Great Fizzy Yellow Beer if you're interested in that kind of thing.

Nickelbrook Headstock. Picked it up at Rockhead. Pretty good beer, naturally carbed and unfiltered.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Nope but I have been doing that with my simcoe pale and centennial IPA. The citra IPA I brewed as Chalmers bday gift so it's at his house for a party this eve.GuingesRock wrote:Have you tried blending those two in the glass?LiverDance wrote:Right now an all centennial IPA. Later an all citra IPA.

Re: What's everyone drinking tonight?
Been enjoying lots of German beers this past week, some really nice Hefeweizens and Helles. My fav spot in Heilbronn is a brewpub: Barfüßer die Hausbrauerei. Brewmaster gave me a tour, it's a pretty cramped spot but he makes 1300 hectolitres a year. He even let me help out a bit
