Around 6 tonight i was finishing up a few things at the school and i get a text from a buddy of mine showing a picture of a picaroons winter warmer, the beer that got me into homebrewing and something i look forward to every year. He says NLC just got some stock in and he picked it up this afternoon.
I hop in my car and head to the NLC to see this sad sight.... i guess it could have been worse. I'll track down some more tomorrow hopefully, i want to set aside 4 for after christmas after they have settled down.
A sad sight.... Life on the rock :)

Get used to it. The beer scene hasn't jolted the big wigs in the NLC yet, although they are starting to get a few decent beers in and they do carry Mad Tom on a regular basis now, so it can't be all bad from our point of view.
Liam, there are a few changes since you were here, but not many.

Hahaha i saw the fosters in the pic when i posted it too and it made me chuckle..
The NLC definitely have much less product on the shelves for craft beer than ANBL did, but i'll give them credit that every other week or so there is a new product or two on the shelves.

I've had my fair share of sh!tty experiences with ANBL ever since I opened my brewery, but I will say that they've really stepped up their game in the last year or so with respect to bringing in new beers. Kudos to them for that.

The beerthief website has a forum posting that follows new releases at the NLC. Also, if you search the website for your drink of choice, it tells you how much of each product is left at each store... Not too bad.
It was definitely a shell shock moving here from Toronto I tell you what!
