I had to stay sober and look after Becky...I told her we needed to blow a keg of IPA tonight and she took that as "Becky, you need to get drunk tonight"

I think it's brewed by cleemore springs. Advertised as a big hoppy beer. My poor man's Coors had more hop presence. However post was to resurrect this thread... 2 day, 1000 members, and no one is drinking?
Keith,

Where were you drinking Hops and Bolts?

Splitcrow in Bedford. Beer wasn't anything special tho. Found it more of a tame pale ale if anything.

Huh. Didn't know it had made it's way out here. I was drinking it in April when I was back home (Ontario) and did a brewery tour at Creemore. I actually really like the beer, and bring some back whenever I'm in Ontario. Glad to know I can get one here!

I wonder if maybe it was an old keg. Is it normally a big hoppy in your face beer?

It's not HUGE hoppy, but it's usually on the hoppier side. Not super bitter, but quite a bit of flavour.

Yeah, next time I'm down that way I'll stop in and try some. I rarely get to the city though, so it'll be awhile.

Hopefully it will still be on tap. If not I'm going to ask for the tap handle lol. It's a nice one.

The shoe shop guy gave me a couple of bottles of this. I took it around to the Wayfarers. I wasn't bowled over by it, tasted like mouldy lemons to me, but if I was in a pub, after drinking the first glass, it would be 50/50 if I'd have another or move on to something else.

Enjoy the moldy lemons Mark haha.

I'm just drinking a Garrison Sweet Rye'd. I think it's my first time drinking a rye beer. If the flavor I get is the rye, I think I'd like it added to a dark beer.

Now drinking jacinthebox' other Pale Ale. Definitely preferred the Amarillo-only dry-hopped version.

Managed to get into town today (in the Laurentians for Thanksgiving) and grab a couple fun-looking bottles. This is one of them. Very tasty.

Sipping on a Pumphouse IPA getting water additions and hops weighed out for my APA and Nut Brown. Using Funk Town in this one.

Does anyone have a US-04 available in sackville? I'm brewing my nutbrown Monday and am apparently out. If not US05 will have to do.

No worries. Looks like it's US-05. Shouldn't see much difference in the beer.
