Yeah, there's a 2nd set of handles near the bottom designed to hold it up while it drains.

saison racked to a carboy...purged the carboy with co2 before racking.
attached the ferm-wrap, bung with thermo-well and airlock. temp probe into the thermo-well, and plugged the ferm-wrap into the temp controller. ..
ramping the temp from 25C (77f) up to 26.7C (80f). ill let it sit for a few weeks...not sure if ill take it any higher.

Yep - I've brewed from -10 to +26, in the snow, rain, wind and sun. Adds character to your brew!

Well I tossed a few, and am missing a few lids. However I'm ready for grain and have no sudden cravings for ice cream haha.

Lol, yeah, with a 10 gallon batch in that kettle I need them to keep the bag from going under. It was my first time using that pot in a long time so I forgot. I need some more large binder clips for that.

Mayhaps I need to get a pickup tube that reaches the side of my kettle. Or set it off the bottom a little. Or wait a little longer after whirlpooling. Because this looks like a little more trub than I'd like to have in my primary

I have dumped all the trub into the fermenter since my first batch and have not had any issues. Glad the Mash Tun worked well!
