It was so windy last night I was worried about my kamado blowing over. Boy was it howling out!

The storm flipped my 4 burner propane bbq over. Cast iron grates all over deck and cover handle broke off. :( Also my neighbour's xmas tree blew two houses down. Crazy wind.

Where did all this snow come from. I didn't even realize it was snowing this much until I got up this morning. I think it may of had something to do with the 11 hour brew day inside. I think I'll be planning to step up to 10 gallon batches when I go all grain. These 5 gallon batches are for the birds, I'll just use different yeasts and dry hop to get different effects on the beers.

Looks like they decided we're getting it. Blizzard warning for tonight and tomorrow: http://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/ns-17_metric_e.html

Plus there's talk of another one coming along "right in behind this one" for Friday.

Not much of a storm here yet. Some snow and no wind. Everything is cancelled/closed in the valley.

Good day to get stuck into the water book. It isn’t exactly light reading.

There's still grass showing through the snow here and it's barely flurrying.

Still lots of rain here. Wind has pretty much died off. We had a decent amount of thunder early this morning as well.

Yep, didn't need an alarm clock with that one! The roads are messy, but with the sun (so far) and temperature, it should make short work of the ice.

OK it's snowing seriously here now and I'm making do with a summer weisen ...or two, and all because of Garrison. I think some of Jeff's RIS by the fire would be more the thing ATM.
