I have them on pots now but was wondering if they should go straight into the dirt

Only thing I would suggest is keep an eye out for spider mites, and when you get closer to planting outdoors, slowly introduce them to the outside. A few hours a day kind of thing until the leaves harden up a bit.

Mine has began to sprout up. I have all three of my new hop cuttings in my greenhouse all are doing well. Sounds like a good plan to slowly introduce them to the outdoors, will have to remember that.
