This one I should be able to attend for a change.

I should be able to host, unless someone on the peninsula (or elsewhere) would like to.
I'll have a bunch of the group buy beer available.

I should also be able to make this one... I've been hanging onto a few beers from my motorcycle trip that I'll bring with me.

Usually 7:30 or 8:00, but people come anytime after, maybe as late as 9:30 I guess. If you can't make that, on the 31st we are planning our ryeipa tasting. And the garrison gala is on the 22nd.

Re: Halifax Monthly Meeting - March 13th
My midterms have been moved up due to the possibility of a strike. It's looking like that week will be quiet so I'll be going. I'll also be able to drive (from the South End). Gonna bring a shot glass so I can drive back too.
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

Sounds great! My tasting glasses are fairly small champagne flutes, which make it easy for drivers to judge how much they are drinking.

Yes. We'll figure out the details as the date approaches.Dirt Chicken wrote:Is it possible that I might be able to catch a ride with you as well?benwedge wrote:My midterms have been moved up due to the possibility of a strike. I want to host one soon, maybe April's. There seems to be a desire to have this one back in Halifax too (yes, I'm another Darkside guy!). Also by that time our Cascadian Dark Ale (I love the sound of that!) and my ESB should be on tap... my taps will be full unless I finish another keg by then. Ahh, who am I kidding?

We've got several offers to host. Who will it be? It's unlikely transit will be rolling by then.

I'd still like to do it at my place, but if transport will be problematic enough to cause issues for some people, someone else can host.KMcK wrote:We've got several offers to host. Who will it be? It's unlikely transit will be rolling by then.

Re: Halifax Monthly Meeting - March 13th
I'm thinking any place will be problematic for "some" people....Having trouble getting to work because of the bus strike is one thing, but when it screws with drinking, then we have a problem!
