Could you set 2 of each aside, one for each of us? It doesn't look good that I am going to make it. I might be able to mule them before Andy makes it, I'll likely be in town for the next BJCP training session. Unless no one wants me BC single hop brewakr71 wrote:I can't make it, but I would still love to swap if folks are willing to wait a month for delivery. I don't see me making it to the city until mid February when I drop off my Brew-Off entry. I used Simcoe and I'm very happy with the results - I'd gladly drink all of it if I can't get the beer to you.

Re: Single Hop Tasting - Jan 19th
Andy was in the original count of 10 bottles to swap..
Graham wasn't, so my math says 11 folks are up for trading. The only other person who signed up originally that we haven't heard from is Larry w/ Cascade. LARRY!?
I'm still bring 15 small bottles, just so I don't get yelled at..
Chalmers can figure out what to do with the other 4 or 5..
(give them to grain pickup warehouse dudes, or there was talk of sending some to Brewer Steve at Olands?).
Updated list;
Beer Swap
SleepyJamie - Chincook - Attending
Andy/akr - Simcoe - Not Attending but will trade
Graham - Brambling Cross - Not Attending but will trade
chalmers - Challenger - Attending
LiverDance - Polaris - Tansported by chalmers
Tim Gr - Citra - Attending
Stu - Tettnang - Attending
TimG - Amarillo - Attending
Sandy - Mt Hood - Hosting
Dirt Chicken - Wakatu - Attending
Jimmy - Columbus - Attending

Re: Single Hop Tasting - Jan 19th
Tim, I didn't opt into the official single hop thing am not on the sheet. Back then I had a nugget brew already and posted here about it though. It's long gone however. I do have a citra brew right now but not using the official grain bill and I'm not in on the official beer swap. I will probably bring a few extra bottles if someone wants to trade though.

I'll taste your beer!
Seriously, I'd treat this like a regular meeting, except since it is on a Saturday we'll likely drink more.. so feel free to bring more than two

There are 10 one hop guys. I bottled 2 each and I have extras too. The exam guys can take to the next meeting.Jimmy wrote:So what's the official number of bottles we are bringing?
If you can swing 10 I think that would be fine.
If thats an issue you can bottle what you can and the out of town guys can have then and the in town guys can wait.
My 2 cents.

Just put my bottles (15) in the freezer to chill. We'll see how the filling goes as well...
Plan on bringing some dip and grilled flat bread as well.
X, I'm also bring that phone for you.

Crisis averted. I found 15 Labatt Blue bottles, cleaned, sanitized and filled em. I'm ready to go with my ghetto "Mug Root Beer Growler"..
