I might take up the bacon Mac n cheese gauntlet for you Chris. It's something I can whip together tomorrow and bake day of. Will be all store bought cheese n bacon, not a pro smoker like some on here :^)
It's gotta be beer mac'n cheese man! Also, don't precook it, cook it at the party. Also, its gotta have balls. And real thick double smoked pork belly. And some HEAT. And..... Bahhhh fuck I'm the mac'n cheese Nazi, the MAC DADDY
Well shit....sounds like you're already the expert...maybe you should just make and bring it? :mmm:

I am.

That's right.

It's the beer event of the year. Anyone bringing food not cooked with beer and or hops in one form or another needs to attend the Nash Culinary School Of Malt, Hops, Yeast & Water.

That's right.

I might just make that mac'n cheese since Jimmy axed nicely

Put my name down; as ridiculous as it sounds, I'm still not 100% sure I can make it (based on family health!), but I'm really hoping to be able to finally make it to one of these!

Well the hop hash beer was a bust. I got no aroma or flavor from it. So in a drunken haze and moment of idiocy I decided to dry hop it with Polaris hops (21%aa) drinking it now I'm getting a grassy/ wintergreen thing going on that's growing on me. It's different for sure and not what I wanted it to turn out like but I'll bring it for research sake anyway.
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
