immersion chiller fittings

I'm looking to finish an immersion chiller with some copper tubing (which I got from Tony shortly before leaving nfld ). The tubing is 3/8" outside diameter, and what looks to be 1/4" inside diameter. I'm hoping to rig it up so I can connect it to either a hose, or a standard faucet, depending on the season. The connectors I will need (in my mind, anyway) are outlined below.

I would also need something on the other end of the hose to connect it to a sink faucet. Does this look like it will work to anyone? do these fittings even exist? I was looking at Rona, and asking the guy there for some help, but had no luck whatsoever (I was only looking there because I have a couple gift cards and would like to use em up before the store disappears). Where would be a better place to look?

I am betting that you will need to take that 3/8 copper tube to a 1/2"npt adapter and then a 1/2"npt to hose fitting.

I used 3/8 ID tube and a reused/broken clothes washer connector, with the appropriate hose clamps.

Yeah, what he said. You could even use a barb on the chiller side for the hose, and femalw hose adaptor on the faucet side only.

Hmmm that looks really clean. May have to do something like that instead. And it would let me use regular size fittings.

I adapted mine like Rob got. Used lead free solder to solder the adapters up to 1/2 inch ID copper and then I used 5/8 inch compression fittings which at one end had a hose connection on it. I used Aluminum QD's to connect to my hoses as I use the hoses only for my chiller anyway.
