BBrianBoogie is the man with the wiring skills on this job. Couldn't have gotten this far without him. We still need to wire in the RTD's so that and some sodder on a couple of spots and it should be go to go

Going to have this thing up and running in some capacity on the weekend, looking forward to actually brewing on it. Been a long time coming, thanks to all those who helped out along the way. I'll post some pics of a brew session this w/e.

haha, probably where I'll be sleeping most of the time! I'm getting some condensation build up on the exhaust but I figure it's cause it's pretty close. RT do you get any in your setup?

Yep but my exhaust is longer than it should be. I keep it under control with a couple of folded hand towels (one under my inline fan) but I'm about to rebuild my hood to make it better.

I don't get condensation on my hood at all, just in the duct upstream of it.

Guessing you are getting the condensation on the hood due to the short run of duct, assuming you are going straight out the Window. Other than that, how does your brew day go?

Brew day is gong pretty good. The system will work very well once I work out these kinks. So if the duck run was longer it would be more efficient?

I wouldn't say more efficient. Would just move where you get condensation! Some mechanical guys may have some better ideas?

This is exactly what I'm trying to build.
Nova Prime Taproom
Tap 1: Festa Brew Scotch Ale
Tap 2:
"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

Got it at Costco for $100. 420cfm, works great some condensation coming back in but that's probably due to my height restriction. If you are in a DYI mood, i have a ss bbq hood and another 450 cfm centrifugal fan

How much for the fan? I have a friend who works in the sheet metal business and could likely bend me a hood.

We will chat. I'd like to take a look at the fan and see how it hooks up. Any idea of the brand/model of the fan?
