Love this. Excellent. I think it is bang on and well made. It seems to be all about alcohol for some reason ...Yum. Very smooth on the way down, why's my glass nearly empty already?
Thanks

I saved Kathleen 2" only at the bottom of the bottle, couldn't help that, we all slip up sometimes, she says "Oh Mark that's brilliant, I'm not just sayin that, that's brilliant"

Nice beer. Well done
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Really balanced beer. Nice malt flavours with enough bitterness to match up.

Thanks everyone. It's my go-to summer beer. Hadn't made it the same twice yet but I'll probably do this one again in the spring. Or I might dry hop it. Who knows?

Fantastic beer. Lots of fluffy long lasting head. Its got a rich full malt character with a perfect amount of bitterness to balance it. There is a nice almost minty hop character that pairs up nicely with the caramel and chocolate malt. I wouldn't just save this for the summer, I would have it on tap year round.

Re: Advent #13 "Endless Summer" California Common
This was another really really good beer. I love Anchor Steam and a Cali Common is on my to-brew list, but I wonder whether I might rather make a batch of this than try to approximate the original. Got some interesting evergreen flavor notes, thought the bitterness was excellent and the carbonation spot-on.
