Had this last night and really enjoyed it. Color was off for a red, but it made a tasty IPA.

Watching some football while enjoying this one. I was in the mood for something hoppy so this is hitting the spot. It has a nice subtle spicyness at the end as well. Great Beer Liam :cheers3:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Great beer. I love the layers of flavour and think the dry hop is an added bonus for this style. Really enjoyed this beer. I love the bitterness and found this beer disappeared so quick while kegging and cleaning this afternoon.

Took a picture but not posting it because I tipped up the sediment into the glasses. Before I did that it was clear, and I thought it was red. A nice hoppy beer that is absolutely drinkable.

Thanks Liam.

Does anyone have a good picture to post of this one?

I'm really liking this beer. It's got a big pine and grapefruit aroma, and flavour to match, with just a bit of spiciness from the rye. I was thinking about doing a hoppy red ale with some of the hops from the last group buy, so I'm glad I got to try this.

I wouldn't call this a red, however it's fucking delicious! Great beer, could drink these all the time. :rockin:

had one earlier, took a pic against the light - white balance on my camera is awful, but still - its more american amber/DIPA in colour, not american red. tasty beer regardless if i do say so myself!

Had this one last night. Nice beer, I definitely have to try making something with rye. I must say I'm getting beered out. The holidays so far have been a chug-fest and I'm going to have to dry out soon.

I've hardly drank since the 20th with the exception of brewing yesterday. I'm beer'd out myself. Been going non stop.

Awesome job, Liam. Great hop aroma. Nice spicy rye character. Clean yeast. Good bitter finish.

It seems like a very unique, well made beer. I'd definitely keep this one around if I were you.

Enjoyed this one a lot. I was beginning to think I was not a fan of rye in a beer. Not the case here! Nice an hoppy, hit the spot!

Drinking this now, tasty beer. I like the hops, and the rye gives a spicy kick in the aftertaste.
