Growler Filler Attachment

Post by Timothy Doane » Thu Jan 10, 2013 7:45 pm

Hello,

I have the Perlick 425ss faucets and I'm looking for the threaded growler filling attachment - any ideas where I can find this? Preferably in Canada.

thanks - Tim

I'm in the same boat, let me know what you find out please?
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Those aren't much use for the 425's though.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Yup, you're right. My ADHD got the best of me in that detail.

Hi,
I just called the guy, he calls them "bottle fillers" they take a 3/8" hose and says you can fill a growler if you want. They are something his shop custom makes I assume (not something from Perlick) - I'll go ahead and get 2 - I mean if you have the 425ss's where else are you gonna get these? I'll wait 'till Monday to order if anyone else is interested.
