I'm making 10 gal of my new AIPA this afternoon. It's called "More" (has more of everything in it, except crystal, none of that bloody stuff
)

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
Done! I just threw dry US-05 in with this brew. Trying to get away without using liquid yeast. I don't know if that's a good move or a bad one. I'll send it off to Cowtown and see what they say. It will be dry hopped in there on day 4, for 3 days. Then into kegs at room temp for a week, then keezer on CO2.

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
So I'm sitting back drinking my Mandavarian Bavarian IPA. Great German Hop, beer has a distinct bitterness and flavor I haven't tasted. I'm very happy with the grain build on this beer, may use it for a English IPA's.Keith wrote:Wanted to brew today. Got the screen tent on sale at Canadian Tire. And just mashed in on my Mandavarian Bavarian IPA. can't wait to have a garage and a dedicated space.

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
Hoping this is the start of a double brew day for me.
Rebrewing my Ordinary Bitter for Cowtown Yeast Wranglers, this will be the 4th time doing this recipe and it has done well in the comps. I keep tweaking it though, i really enjoy this beer myself so i like having it on hand! I'm always going to try an American Pale Ale today if time permits.. every time i brew one it turns into an IPA lol i'm going to try and prevent that this time.
Also trying a new sparge technique on my BIAB as you can see, things got a little messy trying to get the grain bag to cooperate.

Re: What's everyone making this weekend?
By special request from my beer buds, I'm brewing another batch of American blonde today. I'm using a different yeast this time, though (WLP001 instead of US-05 last time). I'll probably get in trouble.

Just checking in, lots of great pictures and brewing action! Once I drink a few cases from the cellar, I'll get back to brewing.
