Brew day was cold today. Had to bring the hoses inside to thaw out. With that being said I'm done for a bit. Will have 6 kegs to keep me going. Next brew day will be when it warms up.

Picking up a couple more kegs today, and kegging my robust porter.

Also, I just weighed out the grain to brew a 3rd version of my IPA. Keeping the grain bill the same, changing the hops from Falconers Flight, to a Columbus/Centennial mix, adding yeast nutrient, and a small addition of baking soda to the water.

Brewing up my Garrison Homebrew Contest Robust Porter today :cheers3:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Brewing a pale ale hopped only with Mt. Hood this evening. Canadian 2-row and some Crystal 30 for the grain bill. Good ol' US-05 for the yeast pitch.

I'm going to brew an ESB with the same hops, Superior PA, Victory and C75/120. Toasted MO sounds nice!

Scratch that -- the ESB will have to wait. I just looked at the calendar and realized I should probably brew my Robust Porter instead. On new equipment. Ug!

Planning my robust porter for Sunday morning. Kegging the mild I brewed last week - S-04 chewed through that in 30 hours!

Just made an IPA but got to use my new oxygen rig that I got from Hop Dawgs, the type that hooks to the disposable cylinders. Foamed like a mofo but sure beats shaking the carboy.

You should turn it down so you barely see bubbles coming from the stone. Otherwise you're just wasting O2.

My orbit is ok...the mandrina bravaira pale ale is dump worthy. ..lifes too short for bad beer. ..and keg real estate is too limited to keep a beer I dont like on tap.
