Anyone use hopville?

Post by sleepyjamie » Mon Jan 23, 2012 7:14 pm

I have used hopville in the past but I find its calculations can sometimes be drastically different from beersmith.
I noticed beersmith typically calculates a higher IBU and lower efficiency results.

Has anyone used hopville? If so thoughts?

I use it sometimes when I want to play around with some ideas and calculations, or at work.

I never change software. Beersmith is my house flavour. :lolno:
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Same here, but...

I like to use hopville because its online and allows me to experiment when im not at my desktop at home. I typically transfer the recipe from hopville to beersmith, which results in drastic differences in the IBUs, efficiency etc...
