Gotta make do while on vacation - first time cooking with gas in over a year - lean beef burgers with process cheese, served on a Brioche bun.

You can do a pretty good job with even a cheap gas grill. That looks good to me.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I hear ya! Some of the best steaks I've ever cooked were done in the middle of the woods, on a rock next to an open fire - you can do a good job wherever you have flame!

Cooking a small chicken over apple and cherry wood. Threw a cast iron pan of thinly sliced potatoes, onions and cheese on the gasser.

I made pulled pork a couple of months ago with two smaller pieces at about 1.6kg each. We ate one that day and threw the other in the freezer wrapped in a double layer of foil.

Pulled the frozen one out today and popped it in the kamado at 300*F for an hour or so. Turns out the stuff freezes pretty damn well. It was a touch drier than originally but a little extra sauce salves that.

Nothing better than grabbing a frozen pack of pulled pork for a quick supper. I vac pac mine and reheat it gently in the microwave. Some finishing sauce always brings back the moisture.

I also keep some small containers of pulled pork, chili, curries, etc to throw on top of a poutine. :)

We do the same thing. Or we leave it as is and throw it on pizza

Red curry with shrimp, spicy mussels, sticky rice @ Cha Baa Thai. Flavours and balance were flawlessly done...
