This has to be the 5th post I've seen (on various forums) about making homemade big macs.

Looks delicious.
Video from there inspired me, but I also read this page, and did a combination of the two. http://mobile.aht.seriouseats.com/archi ... g-mac.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

Nice. Did you add anything to the moose for a touch of fat?

Usually I get 5% fat added to my mince when I get my moose mince made up at the butcher. Keeps it from being too dry, not that I mind it all moose mind you. :lol:

Awesome. I'm so making some burgers this weekend.

I told my daughter last night that I wanted to make some nice burgers soon, with bacon and smoked cheese, and asked if I should make one when I'm by myself (tonight) or wait until the weekend when she can have some too. She told me to wait, a chip off the old block!

Hard to go wrong with moose. Beautiful burger. I would take that over "fancy" burgers any day.

Cast iron roast chicken with hot quinoa salad (made with roasted onions and garlic, pan drippings and sautéed veg).

Nevermind the moose.. that's a fine looking bun! The bun is underrated when it comes to burgers, but it can definitely make or break one..

The pies (and beer) were delicious. A couple tweaks on the Kamado setup and they'll be perfect :cheers2:

So fired up the Kamado for its inaugural run, I love this thing already. On the menu tonight was a good quality ribeye with homemade herb butter, baked potatoes, and Tuscan peas.

Enjoy Mike.

Dry rub pork roast and herbed potatoes were a hit here tonight. I don't think of pics of food till it's too late.
