Nash, that pizza pie looks mighty fine. Love the dollops of cheese and the hard salami. The crust looks perfect too. I know you have to cook many pies to dial it all in like that.

What kind of cheese and from where?

After brewing 3 days in a row, I felt like I was failing as a Meatatarian. So I cooked up a little snack. Todd "The BeerGUT" was down brewing with me, but he left early and didn't get to enjoy this fine specimen.

Come on now, I've got quite the gut too (dare I say almost as big as yours? ;) ), I blame it on all of the research we do, to bring you the beer news. :)

Thanks, brother! Cheese is fresh mozza, SS and Sobey's both carry a few varieties I think. This one is Tre Stelle Bocconcini, 8 or 10 golf balls in brine :cheers2:

A rare meat and two veg night round these parts. One-rib roast, red wine and shallot pan sauce, roasted roots and mash.

(And yes I'm aware that for many on this board "one-rib roast" is pronounced "steak")

Good looking Justin. I had a smoker like yours last year. Did some good grub on it for sure.

Did my first bacon weave yesterday and it was a great feed. I was out of town and had to use my B-I-L's BBQ, but it still worked out good.

When we lived in Hamilton we used to go to this hole in the wall schwarma place called the Safin Grill and get this absolutely delicious chicken and rice dish. It was covered with a white sauce they called "Safin" sauce with a little bit of hot sauce on top. It came with pita and a high end salad made form ice berg lettuce and tomatoes! We took to the internets and here are the results:

Marinating the chicken:

Harissa hot sauce:

White sauce:

Chicken finished marinating, cooked and sliced:

Put it all together:

It was a little off from what remembered. We couldn't get the right peppers to make the hot sauce. The white sauce turned out a little tangier than we remembered too. It was freaking delicious though!
