Thanks! They are homemade.redoubt wrote:Mmmmm pizza! Jeff, are those garlic fingers home made? They look super super tasty!

I roast a head of garlic until it's nice and soft and mix it with about a 1/3lb. of softened butter. Great for garlic fingers, garlic bread, etc.

The ABT's were even better then I hoped, I stuffed the halved jalepeno peppers with cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, cilantro and corn, then wrapped them in a strip of bacon. Smoked for ~2.5 hours at ~225-235F, super easy and were a huge hit, not the best after pic and they didn't last long enough to get a better one.

Man are they ever moist, even better than the first ones. I did add dried fruit to the recipe, but it isn't a secret one. I use this http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipe/anna-o ... uns/12750/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; one, but didn't use all the glaze like the recipe calls for.
I'll get the recipe for the bread and send it to you via PM if you want that later.

First hunk o'meat on the new kamado. Finished off the last of my hogget from September. My go-to rub for lamb is coriander seed, salt, pepper garlic and olive oil. Because this is an older animal, low-and-slow tender is better than pink. Good chance to play with the settings to try to dial things in. Pretty tasty!
