I had fajitas last night! No pics but the sobeys off larry utteck was selling flanks for 450 for a decent sized cut. I picked up a few.

Awesome, I just picked up a piece of flank for some tacos tomorrow night.

I'm also marinating some shrimp and tilapia for some ceveche.

Just put a 5 pound rack of back beef ribs on the Kamado for supper tonight.

Made some blueberry BBQ sauce and kale chips with ingredients from the garden this afternoon.

I've been on a Mexican kick this week. I started with a civeche, which I add a lot of vegies to; a salsa that's more like a pico de gallo; some flank tacos to go with it.

I made some homemade corn tortillas too but they sucked.

This weekend I made a Cochinita Pibil (aka peuerco pibil). Fucking wicked. I'm eating the meat on tacos with pickled red onion and salsa. I just had one before posting this, excuse me while I go stuff my face.

15 3lb chickens for $50
12 pork tenderloins $24
6 500g packs of bacon $12
3 900g bricks of black diamond cheese $6
2 340g bags shredded cheese $4
2 delicio pizzas $4
And a partridge in a pear tree...

So I'm guessing there will be some future food porn pics coming out of my freezer!

Yup I filled Ma freezer. Good ole Bargain Harleys. I missed out on some awesome striploin roasts for $30. My neighbor bought one and steaked it out! There was a mess up on the tenderloin price, that's why it was so cheep! Harley was pissed about that.

Tony.....nope, can't take any credit for the bread whatsoever other than turning on the oven. It came from Costco.

Shane, looks really good, shame we stopped eating wheat, stew again tonight for us.

You have a real interest in food. Do you travel much? My sister lives in Provence (Southern France) and I used to spend my summers with her when I was a student. The food there is absolutely unbelievable, and the wine. Not a beer place though, although you could get a bottle of Stella at the bar… if you wanted to.
