The veggie burgers sound good - used to eat a lot of "grain" style burgers at one point. May try these.mr x wrote:Veggies burgers today for a real change....

They actually taste ok raw so far. Cut the salt though with all the soy sauce.

Derek, thanks for the intro to Hasselbeck potatoes. I made some with parmesan, garlic, and butter. Red pepper with olive oil, herbs, and feta cheese. Striploin. All on the kamado, tasted awesome.

Lookin great! My potatoes were done unpeeled and bareback - without foil, with just a bit of EVOO and BBQ seasoning. They crisped right up. Young guy loves them like that.RubberToe wrote:Derek, thanks for the intro to Hasselbeck potatoes. I made some with parmesan, garlic, and butter. Red pepper with olive oil, herbs, and feta cheese. Re: The Official What's Cooking Thread [Food Porn]
Awesome. I did one peeled and unpeeled. I think I liked the unpeeled better. I hit them in the microwave for 7 minutes or so before dressing them up and putting them on the kamado for 45 mins indirect 450 F heat. Next time I'll try one your way. I think the Hasselback is a keeper!
