Caught some mackerel
I caught some mackerel in Eastern Passage yesterday. We threw back probably a half dozen more. I'm going to smoke and grill them today.

Ok, here ya go. I brined the fillets for about 35 minutes and put them on the smoker for about 1.5+ hours which was a little too long. I could have used a lower temperature as well (was about 270F). They are way too tough.... the last time I did this they came out much better.

For the grilled mackerel I used a Moroccan inspired rub and they turned out great.

I would most likely still eat that and be happy.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

I forgot to mention the ones on the grill turned out fantastic. The meat was nice and flaky, the skin good and crispy.
