Hello From Rhodes Corner
I just signed up and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm from Rhodes Corner and I've been brewing steadily for the past year. I started off making kits with my dad, and I brewed a few kits in university, but it really took moving back to NS to get me into it. I was in Montreal - a city of cheap and delicious beer - and I found myself getting angry every time I bought beer back here at the NSLC. Now my goal is to brew my own beer and avoid the NSLC; I've been able to stick to that so far. I'm also very interested in lacto-fermentation and pickling of all sorts. I think I've got the fermentation bug as now i'm trying to ferment everything. I've also been experimenting with some liqueur infusions lately, but my main focus is beer. My equipment is still very basic, but I can manage for now. When the price is right I'll upgrade.

Going to start moving into the fermented pickles scene soon myself.
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter.

Welcome, and +1 to the lacto fermenting veggies. I've done sauerkraut and peppers in the past.
