I found the bitterness in this a bit too aggressive. Would like to see it dialed back slightly or a little bit more residual sugar.

agreed on the bitterness, a bit harsh, just move some hops around
At Alexander Keith's we follow the recipes first developed by the great brewmaster to the absolute letter. :wtf:

I definitely like beers with late hop additions but I also enjoy a beer with strong bitterness upfront. I don't think I would change it.

I like it as is. But I'd drink it with lower bitterness. The malt profile was very good. For a first release its hard to complain about.

I had one last night. Not sure which batch it was but it was super bitter.

Sounds like one of the earlier batches. In subsequent batches they've noticeably toned down the harsh bitterness without really changing anything else. The original was good, but the tuning has made something I've been drinking regularly even though I'm not usually much of a lager drinker.

I've been loving this and it's been a regular in my fridge the last few weeks.

They sell an unfiltered version at the brewery. There's a reason why some people value that term. It's great

Also had a coconut Porter that wasn't bad. Pilot brewery I think.
