Nice, how is it Jimmy? I still have the BNL chocolate stout here but haven't cracked into it yet.

It's a good beer, I like it. The chocolate comes through nice and it has some strength at 10%.

Edit: It's fairly cheap too, if I remember correctly.

$4/bottle I think. Not bad at all.

My Amber Ale with the S-04 yeast. Turned out very nice. Also have a couple of Garrison Comet IPAs left from last night.

Having this right now. What a fantastic smoked porter! I'm enjoying a piece of home made smoked Gouda along with it.

I'm having an after-work Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. I thought I wasn't crazy about wheat/white beers but I really like this one.

APA I made during Movember. Came out nice. Easy drinking, clean bitterness with slight hoppiness to it. Looks darker in the picture.

Magnum, Cascade, Citra... Pale, C60/30, Munich, Victory

3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze :mmm:
"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.

Drank a couple Stella @ Papa's Bar in Port Hawkesbury with spears104 last night. That and Barking Squirrel are the most exotic beers PH has to offer. :(

I'm off call.... WOOT.

So, I started off with a tasting of my Helles that I kegged last week ( quality control ) and now am drinking a PU.

Then I'll slurp on a few APA.
Serious drinking night ahead.

So, now that Stone has finished their Vertical Epic series (unless they switch to an alternate calendar system at least), a co-worker of mine did a Vertical Epic tasting session from 07.07.07 to 12.12.12

Image

Maybe not as good as another co-worker that allegedly has 03.03.03 to 12.12.12 but still pretty delicious.
