I just had a pint of the APA and it's fucking great as well! I like how it's light (as in alcoholic), tastes great, and mighty quaffable.

Sheeit. I grabbed the IPA and DIPA and didn't intend to get into the DIPA until Friday night. So much for that.

Screams, "NASH made this," when you take a whiff and the palate is everything you could hope for. Reminds me a little of the Thulsa Doom, but it's more refined. Kind of terrifying to think it's only going to get better as he gets the system dialled in and his hop wishlist instead of dealing with what was available. Fuck.

Shit I'm just catching up on e-mails! Hopefully I can stop in for a growler on my way back out of town Friday. Can't wait to try the beer!

Had a chance to try the lineup last night. All were quite enjoyable. Nice to see 3 very different flavour profiles, not just bigger/smaller versions of the same beer. Very solid first run

Good point Brian - there are three very distinct flavour profiles there which makes it necessary for everyone to buy all three right?

I requested a Hoppy Fingers APA and paid $15 but upon arrival at home I noticed that the growler label said Exile on North Street IPA. Based on taste and appearance I'm guessing that I got the APA but because they couldn't provide samples I have no basis for comparison.

I'm gonna be lynched for this, but I just tried the IPA and found it rather underwhelming. I love the hop choices, but the cooked vegetables flavour is rather distracting. I get that it's the first batch, so I'm happy to wait a few batches and then try again.

The IPA is probably the weakest of the bunch in my opinion, but only tried it when hungover so not a good baseline for taste. I thought the APA was great and didn't get to try the DIPA.
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

Second day in growler the IPA has developed some fruitiness that I like. I think the DIPA is the better of the three but damn. It's the initial spawn. Everyone needs time to dial in their brewery. These are all about 15% better than I thought they would be.

Trying the IPA today. Piney and citrusy where the DIPA is tropical and dank. Another trademark NASH beer. Not saying there's not room for improvement but it's pretty ducking good already if you ask me.

Gotta say, I love the insulated growlers. I think I'll have to "suck it up, Buttercup" and get one.

Really enjoyed the DIPA tonight. Also a big fan of the insulated growler. A real nice rig.

Had the Hoppy Fingers APA last night, big hoppy nose, balanced bitterness in the body and the taste just lingers.....pretty hoppy for an APA but an awesomely crafted beer and only 4.8%, you can have 2 or 12 X)

IMO.....for anyone that likes hoppy beers, the bar has now been set very high for the other local breweries to keep pace with the quality of this product.....scary that this is just the first run. I will be picking up the IPA and DIPA this weekend

Can I bring my own growler or do I need an unfiltered one?

Wifely love that the IPA was gluten free/reduced. Does anyone know if that was done using Clarity Ferm?

I liked the IPA, but I found it a bit too thin. I know Greg likes to dry his beers out, but it seemed a bit to much to me. Anyway, still a solid IPA and I will be trying the others soon.

The only thing they're not filling (of the same size as theirs - 1L and 1.9L) are the tall style 1L bottles like Propeller uses.

I think that's one impact they'll have on the local market - showing people what a west coast IPA is supposed to be like. Most IPAs out there now leave too much sweetness and body behind, possibly because they're worried about dryness ending up being too bitter. It's a big big reason why I'm not worried about paying a couple extra bucks for a growler. The technical skill going in, not just the ingredients, is a major difference.
