Still Googling for the answers, though. You LOVE one and HATE the other, but why? I use all three every day and I still don't get the difference btw Pets and Pubs. I'm kiiiiinda slow thoughNASH wrote:Pubkegs are superior in every way, that's the difference. Keykegs suck by comparison, but then again they are cheap by comparison as well. A classic case of getting what you pay for. I dig quality and pay for the luxury. We'll see how the new Keykegs stack up though. Also: Fuck Petainers, they're garbage.CPR wrote:What's the major difference between a Petainer and a Pubkeg, other than the shell? Petainers are OK but super annoying if you want to un-couple them. I like Keykegs a lot for quality, but I understand they're fairly expensive. The new Keykegs are awwwwwsome.

Re: Unfiltered Brewing Inc.
Looks like it's just the shell. Pubkegs plastic definitely protects the bottle better that's for sure. Crumbly cardboard in the walk-in is no fun. Definitely dig the keys tho, the bag-in-a-ball technology feels like it would be right up your alley, Nash, given that it would protect the beer from over/under carbing (plus a guarantee of zero oxygen) for yon delicious liquids! Cheers.

Still slugging away at getting the tanks filled up, I wish that could happen overnight but it hasn't. Not yet at least!
I also plan to have enough beer on hand so I don't run out in a day or 2 leaving all you fine fuckers with no beer to purchase!!
We hope to open within the next few days. Hope!
Beers available at open will be....
Hoppy Fingers APA
Exile On North Street IPA
Twelve Years To Zion DIPA

Re: Unfiltered Brewing Inc.
Big thanks to Liam for heading up into the crawl space to help ensure the beer is still cold when it comes out the faucets (and for the fucking (wounded) finger, of course!!). And for helping create a huge-ass fucking hopbomb via a few buckets of dry-hops. Muahaha
