Re: Official Stillwell Thread
Good stuff. A few of us will be going to the noon session. Don't want to miss the low volume casks/kegs.

Cheers Sandy. Thanks for coming down. That was a fun pint or two. The server tried to tap the pins for us, and got sprayed from head to toe with beer ...your kind of girl. BTW it's the naked bike ride today, not the pride parade.

Didn't see any naked cyclists, got spared that. Saw a police woman on a horse though. Exciting going to the big city. Are they rebuilding the whole of down town? Huge new buildings going up and cranes everywhere. It was getting a bit grotty down there, the bums were starting to outnumber the tourists.

Great to see you all. I didn't get to crack your beer last night. I can't wait to taste silver.

"Twenty years ago — a time, by the way, that hops such as Simcoe and Citra were already being developed, but weren’t about to find immediate popularity — there wasn’t a brewer on earth who would have gone to the annual Hop Growers of American convention and said, “I’m going to have a beer that we make 4,000 barrels of, one time a year. It flies off the shelf at damn near $20 a six-pack, and you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree.” - Bell’s Brewery Director of Operations John Mallet on the scent of their popular Hopslam.
