Looks awesome jimmy and I love the coasters!

I moved on to my first American lager, brewed it at the same time as the Oktoberfest. Trying to round out all the styles lol.

It looks very good Mark.

Jimmy, If that tastes as good as it looks, then I'm jealous.

Bought a six pack of Garrison's In Session IPA and I'm pissed that I have 5 bottles left. It's like they added the bittering charge and ran out of hops. I've noticed that their dry hop aroma has been infuriatingly insufficient in most of their beers. Hopefully they nut up and buy more hops in the future.

For Garrison's sake I'm glad somebody likes it. I'm no cicerone but I'm pretty sure this is one mediocre ISA. Somebody build them a hop cannon!

6 pack I got was decent. Usually I find Garrison hop products to be too bitter, too much caramel, too little aroma. This one was decent
planning: beer for my cousin's wedding
Fermenting: black ipa
Conditioning:
Kegged: barrel barleywine from 2014 - i think i still have this somewhere

Pretty much my assessment as well. I haven't tried their ISA but will likely give it a go.

How did this turn out Jimmy. I'm looking for a new style to make, and that's one I like. How long did you age it?

Turned out decent. I'd prob try a different yeast the next go round, something with a bit more spice to it. I used 1214 and fermented at 62*. There's a slight spiciness, but more banana than I'd like.. Apparently that yeast produces more banana than some of the others. It was 3 weeks old when I kegged and is about a month old now.

Having a bottle of Perry that Liverdance made 3 years ago. A bit of acetic acid, but it works. Quite enjoying it

In January I decided to remake the first beer I made (and still my only original recipe), Unreasonable Brown. I think I might make that a January tradition.

Anywho, it's the first beer I've made to go into a keg and tonight I pulled my first couple glasses. Keg carb with corn sugar evidently hasn't worked quite the way I expected it to (but straight CO2 will address that I'm sure), and there's still some yeast floating in it, but it's tasty.

After spending a good portion of the afternoon shoveling this white mid-March bullshit, time to relax a little.

Went out to clean up the end of the driveway and found this guy walking across the snow.

Now I'm on a tiny stash of a few month old batch of IPA that I made with 05 - it's hitting the spot!

Not sure why but I poured an ounce of scotch into a pint of Propeller RIS. The smoke from the scotch is upfront but I think it works.

Propeller one-off oatmeal stout. Guy at the prop shop described it as "pretty much the same as the RIS, but with oatmeal flavour"
