At a work function a month ago I was having a Box Cutter and a co-worked asked what it was and then turned to the waitress and asked for a Box Licker!!!

I can't make this shit up.

Really good Jeff. My initial thoughts are this. Insane body to this beer. Lacing coats the glass like ice cream (almost) I wish it had some more upfront bitterness or hammered with late hopping to give it a greater hop flavour but its a really solid beer. I got a co worker who lives in the area to get me a 1 liter growler. I wish it was more American West Coast or shall we say a NASH Double IPA but it's great. I'm really happy half way thru this. As it warms it's even better. It might be the buzz being 8%. lol

The buzz always helps! I may take a swing out that way next weekend. Have yet to drop into the brewery.

Drinking Australian Shiraz, and Masi. Sorry guys. Variety is the spice of life. Anyone been drinking wine lately?

I'd love to be in the south of France again drinking wine and Pastis, or on Mexico having some tequila.

This winter is dragging on a bit.

I don't have any good beer ATM but have brewed 30 gallons in the past 3 weeks. Should be stocked up again soon.

I have bottles in the fridge, but that's to send off to competitions only.

Neurotic Guinges signing out ...before I have to much wine and start posting crap :D

Have a great weekend all. :cheers2:

I drink a lot of wine Mark. I've pretty much abandoned french wine and stick to the new world/New Zealand. Not for any reason, just out of habit and cheapness.

Marc if you like Shiraz try Laughing Stock vineyard out of BC. What they produce is well undervalued. And they ship cases to your door (when the weather is right of course). Their Shiraz wins awards, but I haven't tried any. My dad buys their mixer cases and he squirrels the Shiraz away. I've drank a lot of their blind trust and portfolio. Can't go wrong with them.

Tonight, I am drinking an american brown with and ounce each of Simcoe amarrillo and citra as a whirlpool additions. Finally tasting good after two weeks of being really acrid from the chocolate malt.

Island Hoppin IPA. Good aroma but more like a good APA. Fruity citrus. I like it.
