Didn't they put Maritime out of business by hoarding bottles? I'll hang on to mine a little longer just in case.

It must be true! I had a terrible cold about a month ago, got hammered on a super hoppy pale ale, felt great the next day!

The B.C. Human Rights Tribunal has agreed to hear a complaint against a restaurant chain that sells a beer called Albino Rhino, because a woman who suffers albinism considers it offensive, thus proving once again that society has lost all ability to solve small problems without turning them into big ones.

Yup, Greg asked me to co-take over the blog with Nick, as he wants to spend more time on his homebrewing. That should mean he'll be on here more often, updating us on his adventures.
That means I could use some help keeping up to date with beer and brewery info, and I'd love to profile any homebrewers who'd like to trade emails with me for highlighting in the blog.

After the tour at the Olands Brewery, brewmaster passed around a few unmarked cans of a special batch they brewed up for the Ontario Cask Days (week?) festival. It was essentially a well done West Coast style Pale Ale with a good amount of centennial and cascade dry hops.
