The alchemist collaboration beer was put on late last night. Pretty good, not sure how much they have...

Was trying to convince Andrew to get a TV in for the Superbowl. :-)

How did that turn out? Would be a great place to spend the day/night watching the game.

It was something that he had totally not considered by his reaction. He did mention that he was thinking about getting a TV in for the World Cup (that other football :barf2:hahahahahahaha). So maybe it could happen. Would interest me.

Crap, no Moralité left, Mike must have drunk it all. But the BA Solstice d'Hiver looks like a winner. I'll be there shortly after 1:30 as well.

That's a slippery slope toward becoming a sports bar. Just go to the rebuilt Palace. It has craft beer, and is "leading the downtown revival."
Brewing right now: whatever is going on tap at Stillwell in a few weeks.

I don't think that bringing in entertainment for a special event is a slippery slope towards anything. It's an event.

If the faux-lumberjack crowd gets bent out of shape over the presence of a television, they can always spend a Sunday afternoon in the woods.

On another note, I haven't heard one thing about the Palace since the old post from The Coast months ago....

Almost like a tap takeover event from 12-5pm _one_ afternoon. Good thing no one thought that might be a slippery slope for Saturday afternoons to be dominated by ticket-only events.

For anyone who was considering going to the Sat afternoon event, but hadn't yet bought tickets (or RSVP to tix@ address), the event is sold out.
Should be a fun event, at least a few special/one-off/launch beers.

And for those who missed out, I'm sure most of the beers will still be on at 5 when the doors swing open wide (well, depending on number of patrons, as they've sold to their capacity, 80).

It _would_ have been a good thing if no one had, but then you went and did it. Grumpy cat strikes again!
