"Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chamber of my brain -
Quaintest thoughts - queerist fancies
Come to life and fade away;
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today." ~ Poe

In another shit hole town. Swift current Saskatchewan.

Picked up some local beer. Looks like it was made by an amateur brewer and their first batch.

Bottles are plastic and labels are hand made. Just poured the bock. Smells like rotten wine and tastes like my grandmothers ass.

No wonder it was buy two get one free. Oh and they are 1 litre bottles.

Oh and the two left is a pilsner and a blend. I have no idea what is in the blend. It was either that or the clam which is apparently made with clamato juice.

Can't say I'd be getting any non-homebrew that came in a PET bottle. Too funny.

well done sleepyjamie! great review

I'm having the Waterloo sampler (Bock, Pilsner, and Amber) and I like them very much, but they could use a tad of leftover anal beads...
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Love the report on the Buffalo Brewing beer.
I'm celebrating the end of my time in BFN Quebec with a trip to the brewpub in the next town over (100km away). Trefle Noir in Rouyn-Noranda. Pretty decent beer.

I shared Jamie's report with a friend from Swift Current. He got a good laugh from it.
